Hey All,

I recently scooped up a 2006 LX 470 and am loving it. Would love to get some inspiration from others who have modded their Sand Dollar Pearl LX’s. Looking at blacking out all chrome, then new wheels (leaning toward black Tundras) and tires, to start.

Me too. I was looking for white, initially. The Sand Dollar Pearl really grew on me, after doing more research.

Have not replaced it yet. Set to H in that pic. Plan is to go with the slinky's in the rear, stage III ICON, replace TBs, and new UCA to allow for more travel.

Don't know what Brass Monkey looks like but this is what I did and I get a lot of compliments on them.

I ended up going with bronze and love it. Similar to yours but less shine. Pretty dark without any direct sun.

bumping this thread - let's see more of those SDPs!

I've been hesitant to pull the trigger on a truck that is this color as I don't want to look to fancy with the pearl paint.
It does seem to translate well to the trails based on these pics.

Sand dollar Pearl is a more of a tan dollar Pearl with powdered sugar on it.

Here is my 2004... Not the best pic but she is in front of the LC lineup.

I have had her for a few year but not a ton of changes... Front bumper and sliders. Tacoma wheels (with spacers).

Next up is a new roof rack and debating rear bumper to match the front.

I go back and forth about wheel color... I like the wheels but maybe take them to my powercoat shop - bronzed or some darker/hyper silver??
