I am well aware. As I am sure you have, I have been hit by their "kindness" to allow one to pay their fines on the side of the road so they don't have to follow them to the station and pay them there, which would take much longer.
I mean the real authorities way above the cops that have to answer to all the pissed off locals when they lose out on a million dollars of income for the year when the racers don't race there. I know it would never really happen but if Sal acutally cancelled a race and nobody showed I bet there would be some change. Unfortunately real change would take more than just that.

Well I believe Sal did do that this year. I guarantee that you will see the 250 back in San Felipe next year!

True, I should have been more specific, I was really referring to the 500 or the 1000 as that would be a bigger hit and get more focus. I also was thinking canceling the whole thing to take away the money one time not just moving the money across the peninsula.
