1) What is the device located above the steering column in the photo below, which is apparently not equipped to every LC250 model? I believe it's to ensure you're watching the road. The LC250 is supposed to have TSS 3.0 standard on all models, so I'm wondering why it would only be equipped on some.

2) Traffic Jam Assist is an option on the GX550. What is this feature, and is it standard or optionable on the LC?

Maybe these two questions are linked. Thanks for any input!

1. Driver camera. I expect these will be on all production models.
2. Will keep lane, brake to a stop, and then get moving again, for bumper to bumper traffic under 25mph. The regular cruise control will come to a stop, but it won't go again without interaction. I don't think anything is official for the LC yet, but it will probably be optional, just like on the GX. It is optional on the new Grand Highlander and Prius, so I don't see why they wouldn't offer it on LC.

Do you know if TJA is a subscription based feature, or one time fee?

On our 2023 RX it is included in the optional convenience package and is a subscription item.

It works quite well in LA traffic.
