Just a heads up. As most of you know Teddy (our VP) and Morgan were expecting triplets this June. A sad turn of events has caused them to lose two early this week. The third is still doing well. If you would like to send something they are at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Listed under Will and Morgan Swartz. They are on the 6th floor. He says they are taking visitors. It's a sad time for the UC family. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

:( Definitely in our prayers.

if nothing changes Jennifer and I are going to give them a visit tomorrow afternoon around 6:30.

Oh no! That's awful to hear... Praying for them now.

So sorry to hear, they are in our prayers.

Thinking of you two and praying.

Hey guys, just wanted to give a brief update. Tucker and Tanner were born and passed away last week on Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning, in that order. The doctors have told us that this situation with triplets maybe happens 1-2 times a year worldwide, so there is really no set plan for it.

Somehow, miraculously, they were able to stop labor after Tanner was born and Theo has now made it a week and is still alive and doing well in the womb. He has received two rounds of steroids to help grow his lungs and Morgan is on a constant IV of magnesium sulfate to slow smooth muscle reflexes and help with his neurological function in the event be is born.

At this point, it is really a waiting game. He could be in there another month, or another day. There's really no way to tell. The 24 week mark was a critical one to get to and we got there today and GHS has one of the best level 3 NICUs in the country. The main thing to watch at this point is infection. If she develops sepsis, they will have to force labor.

So, for now we are just hoping and praying that he hangs out in there as long as possible. This has been a crazy experience and we still haven't really been able to absorb everything.

I can't thank you all enough for the good thoughts, prayers, vibes, and karma sent our way. He's named after my grandfather and me, so I know he wants to fight for this.

Another update, Theo was born about 0130 this morning and came out crying and kicking. They took him immediately to the NICU. The doctors were able to get a breathing tube and umbilical IV in pretty easily. He has been stable all day and has good heart rate and BP. He is also do about 50% of his breathing for himself and they aren't having to give him a ton of oxygen support. This is good, in the event they need to, they can turn up the oxygen and not hurt him.

So, for now it's mainly a waiting game. The first week is critical for him and especially the first three days.

Great update. We will continue to keep y'all in our prayers!

So very to sorry to hear this. Thinking of you both and wishing everyone the very best! go Theo go !

Wow, glad to hear he is doing well, but sorry to hear about the others.
Best wishes from the Lowcountry, keep us updated.
