Saw Ryan's F-250 in this month's Diesel Power magazine (including a pic with his mini in tow). Also another ABQ resident's CTD (who is a city firefighter also).

what was the city FF's name? i know a couple that have 4x4's that they tow.
It was Max Moya's. He said that there are a bunch of you guys that have bombed diesels. Like the trucks that were doing burnouts in Tijeras the last time I saw you Shawn.
I haven't met Ryan but thought that it was cool that he was in Diesel Power and has a rockcrawling mini-truck.

Fun, yes. Responsible... probably not.
for those that haven't heard this story- i was at work and got a call for smoke in the area, possible brush fire. on our way through the area i noticed the diesel trucks, a photographer and the black stripes in the road. you could smell tires. no smoke or brushfires anywhere to be found. on the way back through we stopped and asked the photographer if they were doing burnouts that made lots of smoke. the photographer was Harry! he said yep, they were. we had a good laugh and i went back to the station. nice pic!

Now that's funny. Small world.
I rather sheepishly apologized to Shawn and he replied "As long as there isn't a fire I don't care what you do!" I lucked out that day, I have been less fortunate on other photo shoots.

I know max . He is making a very good name for himself not only with diesels, but suspension and fabrication also.
Note just outside fire station #5 (penn / central ) new fab shop looks like it is doing rock crawler builds. Does anyone know of the shop?
