Hello,
I am looking on doing some frame work and have a question. I like the POR-15 and have good luck with it but I think on the frame I do not want a high gloss black like the POR is. Is the rust bullet as high gloss as the POR? Thanks in advance.

Matt

I thought Rust Bullet only came in silver? You can topcoat either with a satin black. POR makes one called chassis black which I've used over POR15. I think Rust Bullet makes a black satin top coat as well.

I have no rust on my frame but I've been thinking about painting it with Rust Bullet and then topcoating with something satin. I was considering Rust Bullet as it was silver and it would be easier to tell where I've painted.

JUst scanning though these post.

Rust Bullets has a paint called Black Shell. It can even be sprayed and is very glossy. Th'at being said the original rust bullets has more rust preventative so I'd reccomend a coat of it and then the black shell. Ain't nothing getting through that process.

rust bullet sells a kit with 4 qrts of the "original" silver for your base coat,,,
and 2 quarts of the black for the top coat,,,
i did a spot test on the frame with both and hotdamn it looks sweet,,,,
