I want to run wires from engine bay to cabin
And I think this location works (has extra space) - passenger side

However where should I expect it to show up in cabin (How much stuff do I need to remove?)
I'm already in process of getting new amp, so amp and dash speakers are removed.

OR
if there is alternative location, which one is it? (I saw about 3 places where wires go through firewall but only pictured one has extra dongles)

That’s the access I use on the passenger side. There’s another one available on the driver side under the brake master cylinder. I can’t remember where it comes out inside the cabin. You may have to pull the carpet loose at the top under the dash.

Ah I see as long as I'm not dismantling ECU/ECM etc, removing carpet is good.
And good to know there is one on driver side, will look again

Yes that is a good spot. Drop the glove box and gently push a straightened wire hanger (or fish tape) from the engine side at a downward angle. You should be able to pull wiring back into the engine bay. Or push a string through and pull the wire into the cabin.

I used the grommet on driver side under brake booster, as mentioned. It comes out above your left foot. Not the easiest thing to reach, but no problem, and I don't recall having to remove anything. I seem to remember a cutout at the top of the carpet where you can run the wire through.

Another link, this from the Wit's End Quarter Panel 50 pages thread from 2018:

I use the Lh drivers foot location.

Quite easy actually.

I use the ss support from a wiper blade. It’s long enough that you can push it through from the cabin then tape your wire to it and pull it back through.

Takes me about a minute to perform the task.

I just had to push a bit of wire and pull it from inside and worked well (passenger side). Had to push last few wires bit harder
I think my driver side has been used for ARB lights (didn't see much option there).
If I get really forced to find more places, I'll look again on driver side

Will flex loom tomorrow in engine bay and will tape around gromet.

Both side are being used on mine
