I was just wondering about and your bumper as well? Is that a custom build?
It's a kit from Coastal Offroad, comes on a pallet and ya gotta build it... I have nothing but good stuff to say about the bumper, it has treated us well and we have beat the S out of it:)

Just wanted to say, I am another member who gets excited when Kreiten starts a Trip report thread. Pictures are unreal. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the props man, appreciate it!

Nice! Pretty simple setup. Tires 33s?
yep, tires are 33x12.50's, he kept the build simple and it shocked us all... Greg and I were just talking the other day and we both said "we will never look at an old Tacoma the same" Little BEASTS!

Thanks for the props on the pics! Rear bumper has taken an absolute beating over the past year and is holding up well. The swingouts work great, wish they had a lock in place mechanism, but other than that no complaints. As the bumper takes hit after hit on the Rubicon you can see in one of the pics the latch is partial undone. A quick tightening of the bolts and the latch was good to go and held well! The bumper does not make much noise and I have been very happy with it, Coastal Offroad did a great job on it IMO... My Brother also rocks the Coastal and is happy with his as well...
Thanks for the info Ken. Reason I’m asking is that my rear swing out uses a bushing instead of a bearing. It’s a pain in the butt to open in hot and dusty climates, which pretty much means always. So, I’m thinking of creative options to change it. This might work good for me.

Give it a try, def no issues opening in hot or dusty weather... Hope it works out for ya!

Saludos a todos desde Venezuela. Excelentes historias y construcciones. Veo que la transmisión ideal para el rubicón es At, no puedo imaginarme esquivando esas piedras con mis 80 MT y 35 neumáticos, más el stock ratio. Imagino que fatigaría un poco el embrague.
