Rubber hood bumper help, please

I've got new rubber pads to go under the hood to keep it off the apron. Since my '70 FJ40 hasn't had them since I've owned it, I'm not sure how they go on. Does anybody have a picture?

Check out the 1st pic (#21) and the 5th set of pics (#22). Shows where you put the rubber pads on the bibb and the apron to keep the hood off of them.

The bibb pads slide into slots on top of the bibb. It's formed to slide into the slots on both ends and lay flat on the bibb. I believe the apron pads screw into the top of the apron. I'm not where I can look at my FJ40 right now and its been along time since I put mine on. I purchased mine from CCOT.

I am thinking you mean the side hood bumpers and not the front hood bumpers. I don't think a 1970 FJ40 had the side ones. They came on later FJ40's. So, you may not have the threaded holes for them.
