Hi, 2001 LX here — I spent today driving to Amelia Island and then driving around on the beach. Maybe relevant: it was pretty bumpy out there. When I was stopped, I tried raising the height to HI a couple times but it did it VERY slowly. Then I drove over to my job site today at the Ritz Carlton, and after parking, I noticed my AHC had sunk down to LO and the OFF light was flashing. I live in Orlando, so would love to fix this before driving back, if at all possible. I’m also currently on the clock, with breaks here and there, so I will be partly unavailable—but I will check in every chance I get. Thanks. Sorry if there’s threads that could help with this but I just don’t have time to read all the AHC posts right now since I’m here working.

Googled "ach low flashing off".

Yea, guess I should mention I don’t have tech stream with me. Again, dont really have time to do a lot of reading right now, since I’m currently at work working. Was sort of hoping for direct advice.

Were you planning on driving back to Orlando tonight?

I’m sorry I think your first sentence got cut off. I have to drive it back to Orlando tonight, unless there’s a really good reason why I shouldn’t.

Yeah, I was asking if the truck was completely sitting in the bumpstops.

If it is that will be a long drive to Orlando. If you have no suspension at all I’m not sure how fast you could drive, but you could definitely drive it.

Hmm. It’s very low. How do I know for sure if I’m on the bump stops? Bounce on the rear bumper or something like I’m trying to shake it? I just tried that now and it gave me a little bounce/movement. Assuming I’m not *all* the way down then?

Edit: Very appreciative of the help, guys.

Yeah, if you have some bounce and it’s not rock solid that’s good. You may be able to drive it at a reasonable speed. Just have to try it and see what feedback it gives you.

Ok, thank you for the advice. Gatorbait is coming in an hour with Techstream 👍🏻 So hopefully we’ll have more info soon. The fluid is full, FYI. So not a leak. I peaked at the sensors and they didn’t look broken to my eyes—not sure what they look like when they fail.

Awesome. Let me know if you guys end up needing any tools that you don’t have. Chances are I will have them in my drawers.

I might have some components at home; can't remember if I tossed them in my most recent garage clean out last week. I'll be on Amelia island this weekend. If I have something you need, you're welcome to it.
Oh no! Just bought a pump 🤦🏻‍♂️ But we’ll see how it all goes 🤞🏻 Thanks for the generous offer!

Remember me telling you how puny AHC springs are last night? I found a pic I took of my Tourflex springs last year comparing them. That’s why you were sitting on the bump-stops in the back.

BTW, that pie guy really wigged me out last night. I was about to judo chop that guy out of pure reflex! Who in the hell does that at 12:30 in the morning!?!? I’ll never forget it.

Yeah, what was with that guy?

For sure, that is quite the difference. Can’t wait to get my new pump on Thursday!

Yeah this guy was like “I’m not trying to sell you these pies, but I’m trying to spread the word that I’m making these pies because this lady has cancer” and he had a half of a pie in a pie pan. Tbh I kinda wanted some of the pie. But that guy was pretty odd, so probably good that I didn’t. I had enough problems.

What is RTH?
