Just an update to say 7 years passed since this thread and still cruising ih8mud, and still running both rigs! 8)

Great reading fantastic Cruisers.
There is one thing I never can get with the 80 ser. They are never the same. Your lid on the fridge is the best. All the later models 1995 and up had lids like that. Pre 1995 had this one. Basically changed when the dash changed.

The rear badges position is a or V.X.R is a UAE thing. Japan spec like this. Some have the 24 valve and others not.
