Well, been driving this thing off and on. Took it to San Luis Pass last weekend with a group of Cruiser guys. I can add pictures later of that.
Before I drove it to work last Friday and the weekend trip, I checked the oil. Nothing on the dipstick... Added one quart, nothing. Two quarts, nothing. Three quarts, a little bit. Four Quarts = Full.
Probably had 3000 miles or so on that oil. Fresh after my oil pan gasket, no leaks, anywhere. No sign of oil in coolant/ coolant in oil. 4 quarts just vanished.
Did a compression test last night with

Cylinder 1 - 132
Cylinder 2 - 120
Cylinder 3 - 120
Cylinder 4 - 122
Cylinder 5 - 116
Cylinder 6 - 119
Conditions were: engine at operating temp, throttle held open with hand throttle, all spark plugs removed, coil wire removed.
I forgot to squirt oil in the cylinders and re-test to check if the rings are more to blame or not.
I do smoke a little on cold starts. I took a video the other day that I will upload, or maybe re-do with a GoPro.
This head has ~52k on it since the rebuild in December 2008. I was younger then, not as experienced as I am now. I don't remember all the details of that rebuild
