A few years back I had my rad recorded by a shop here in Victoria. I think it was Rand Automotive… but can look it up if it would help. They did good work and to should last another 25 years. It wasn’t cheap, but I’m glad I paid for it.

I had mine done by them, also - I am very happy with the results.
The rad I had recorded had lasted 25 years. Their rad guy pointed out how the tubs weren’t soldered on well and why it started to leak.
Time will tell for sure, but if their job is better it should last even longer. I’m hoping it’ll be the last rad I’ll need to buy for the 40.

Got the Rad cleaned up, removed all of the JB Weld and old solder and took it to a shop in Courtney. They are going to resolder it, clean it and pressure test it.

When you get it back in, do that ground test of the coolant to see if there's any loose volts running around.

I had a savage bit of electrolysis happen to mine when a ground cracked.

The electrolysis happens fast in a 24v truck...
