Roof rack..

This roof rack has been on my 40 for about 25 years and I've stood in it many times taking photographs. Did I mention I weigh 285 lbs? The rain gutters have not sagged or bent down. They are not fragile.

I have a Garvin Wilderness rack on my Tahoe and ordered it from a supplier found on the internet. I would check with truck and 4x4 companies close to you to see if they carry the brand. You need to understand that SOR is known for their excessive shipping cost. I'm sure you can get it delivered at a much more reasonable cost through a different company. You might go to the Garvin website and see if they list companies that you can purchase from that are closer.

I like that short rack. Make me consider cutting mine back. I am 220lbs and I climb all over mine with no issues as well.

Dr slug, I really like your rack, it will work fine with hard top, soft top, or no top. The reason, well one reason, I havent gone to a paki top, is I need my hard top to mount my rack......Hummm.. makes the wheels start turnin' in my head.
