I’m touching up and fixing some things and was gonna have some top issues fixed and painted. Mine is a 73 and I’ve read both T012 cygnus white or ivory shell white are the factory top colors.

I might go with a slightly whiter color on top… my body is dune beige. Anyone got any good pics of a tan or beige with a white top that can provide the color code for the white they went with.

Kinda like this look here …..

My blue 72 came with a red 76 top. A neighbor painted it and did some bondo work for like $300 back in 84. It took 3 gallons of "flat" tan, 7 coats on the outside and 5 on the inside. I never missed the white top or noticed it was hotter during the idaho summer being flat tan. I took the color wheel at the paint store, outside, kicked the dirt - matched the color and said this in flat. Neighbor guy bought the second gallon of paint because he didn't know you have to shoot flat paint as is. Then he ask if I would buy the 3rd gallon ($50) because he would be loosing time/money. I gladly bought that extra paint and it looked good for a long time.
