Made new handles this morning with stuff laying around in the garage. I had some flat rope that I got from a buddy's dad that works for the phone company. He said they use it to pull cable and then throw it away after one use. It's says it has 1,800 lb strength so I assume it should work. Used some fuel line for a better grip. It's kinda like a poor mans Yeti handle.

I Love Flat Strap

I wouldn't trust the plastic handles at all, they're pretty cheesy, it was the first think I replaced on mine.

Agree but until I find some metal brackets its all I got to work with. Plus I ran into it twice having it in the living room and needed to get it out of there. It's going to live in the cruiser now.

The handles warezdog found are metal and work great. You just have to drill some holes and that's it. I think I got mine on ZoroTools.com

Got mine from amazon. Agreed that the plastic handles are worthless.

Sold my 60qt that no longer operated on 12v for $50 last night. Time to start searching for a 43qt!

Mine is still purring along just fine. I leave it on 24/7. It even survived (well not the hinges) rolling around in the back of truck because I forgot to strap it down before hitting a rock garden/creek bed. She has a few dents now but works great. Still need to source replacement hinges. May have to bite the bullet and buy the overpriced stainless direct replacement hinges.

I noticed the price dropped even though they still show "out of stock". 80Q $300, 63Q $236 and 43Q $251. Everyone be on the look out. Maybe they are updating pricing for the next batch?

Bringing this back to the top again. I added the 43qt scratch and dent to the list. I'm on the hunt for a 43qt, either through OpenBoxDirect or through someone on here looking to sell theirs and upgrade.

Hit me up!

Another note for anyone on the hunt. Entering your email address to be notified when back in stock doesn't do s***. When I got mine I just found it doing my daily check. I got no email notifying me.

Yep the email notification doesn't work. If I recall, the price will change when it's back in stock (higher price). But even at $300 for a 63quart, it's a good deal. Mine is still chugging along (although I ended up with a brand new one when the dent one didn't work and the next one got lost in the mail).

I need to build a new slide, I promised my wood one to my mom & her 100.

I was wanting a set of Franks sliders before I got my bumpers and even now with OPOR's mounted I'd still consider jumping in depending on price point and shipping to the DC area.

I've had mine for a while and its been on 24/7 as my office fridge. I pull it out for weekend trips here and there.

Still cranking :D

@warezdog What is Franks? I looked at front runner a while back, but I always have a hard time parting with my dirty paper. I have the scraps to build what I want, just need to get my glutes activated.

My bad, I was flipping thru threads and replied to the wrong one!

I was talking about Franks boat sliders, they're trying to get him to make another run of them, might have to put my OPORs up for sale if he does!
