I frigging love that slide out, it turned out really nice and the stove fits perfect!

How much room you got to open the lid? With my drawer build complete I think I've screwed myself getting room to get into it but I haven't had the time to get the fridge back in the truck yet so I guess I'll find out this weekend.

The lid barely brushes the top weather strip when open and the rests on the d pillar, it opens about 97% of full, but enough to stay vertical on its own.

I wanted to keep my third seat mounts, so I had to use a J-bolt on the fore mount in order to make it work, because the slide base is just barely long enough to reach when I have to pulled towards the back of the truck.

Basically, the tolerances are completely maxed out with the mounting to the truck, the fridge sliding out and opening the lid, and putting a stove on the table. So if you are going to do a slide like mine, I highly recommend using at least 28" slides and going a little longer on the unit. I think I can switch to 28" slides in the future, but it's working right now.

They do come in batches, did you get a tracking # yet?

It came today. It's not in bad shape, had a couple of dings and scratches.... Looks about like what my brand new one looks like now after a few months of use. This one is for my mom so she can hit all her grocery stores in town and road trip. I really wanted to get her a 43qt, but not complaining at this price.

When I first plugged it in, it was completely inop. I opened the panel on it and checked all the connections and then it magically turned on with both power sources after that. So loose connections likely the issue.

I did notice some of the internals look different, it has different hinges, and sounds a bit louder than mine, maybe it has a different fan. I'll report on that later. I ordered an extra set of zorotool handles in anticipation of getting another fridge, so I just need to drill those out and send this one off to mom.

Anyone have a 63 qt in a 4th gen 4Runner? It will fit nice against the RR panel, but door won't open enough to get big basket out. Will the door open all the way with low slide? How do you mount the slide to the floor with that cargo floor that pops up in the way? Think I'll just strap it to the cargo hooks in mean time.

So you're saying both are 63's and they're different? Odd, can you post pictures when you get time?

First fridge I received....

Second fridge I received has a different style power supply. There was some white goop on it, so I wonder if it was replaced after manufacture. The only other difference was the hinges were a white/gray color... And the seal on the door sticks to the fridge badly.

I've seen 3 edgestar fridges and the fitment of the outlets to the service panel door were not uniform, like the mounting is a little bent.

one 63qt for 287 as well

Recording voltage/time until the truck no longer turns over. This is with an empty fridge using a Sears Platinum 31M battery, fridge pre-cooled to 26 deg. and set for 34 deg.

Starting voltage 12.98

24 hours in - 12.58V

48 hours in - 12.32V

96 hours in - 11.82V

Still going!:bounce:

*NO BEER WAS OR IS BEING HARMED DURING THIS EXPERIMENT.

Well my year old interstate group 27 finally bit the dust. I've had the fridge on for about a week, driving at least 30 miles a day. I parked last night around 10pm with about 12.4v after the battery settled, was around 11.6v at 12pm, and it wouldn't start today at 5pm (been about 90° high this week). The fridge did engage to the low voltage feature, so I was able to get the truck started with a jump box. The last 6 months, I've used the fridge maybe one day per week, so I didn't beat on the battery too badly.

Just ordered a group 31 tray, so I'll be making the upgrade soon. Common sense advice, but I'd recommend an upgraded AGM battery if anyone plans on using the fridge when the vehicle is parked.

Just got the 63Q. Seems like it was the only one though. A check back after purchase didn't show any available. I used the Google Chrome Extension "Page Monitor" with limited success but it was right this time.

Just for reference, I finally hit the shut down stage with my fridge running yesterday. The low voltage cut off also worked on mine. Temp lights were flashing and read 74 deg. I checked the voltage on my starting battery and it was at 10.6v. Tried to start the truck and it fired right up!

My fridge has been chugging along just fine for three months now. Pretty happy with my purchase. The 12v plug is garbage though. Hardwiring mine soon.

Geez, yes even an upgraded cigarette plug and outlet suck. I'm about to order a set of BMW / Hella plug & outlet to fix this. If I could find another cheap 12v cord, hardwiring is a good idea. Edgestar sells just POS cord at the low price of $69.00.

Any idea where to get a replacement cord or at least the plug that fits the fridge?

Down to 1, weeeeeeee

Im starting to think we are getting scammed by the seller. When TXLX100 posted at 12:08 I called a friend who jumped on it and it went down to one. Then I called another friend about the deal and he was at the bank and asked if I could jump on it for him, so I did. It went to zero available and I received my confirmation. Either way it sounds like everyone scored.:meh:

Thanks to TXLX100 for the notification

I was going to go with one of these http://www.delcity.net/store/12-Volt-Plug/p_801155 but decided to nip if off the plug and hard wire it in and just tuck it out of the way when not in use.

Well crap, it showed 2 in stock when I ordered. Got my confirmation email and now it shows 1 in stock. It took some convincing as to why we "needed" a fridge now. My answer was obviously because they are never instock!

That's how I ended up with one. It's been a good purchase so far. Wife gets to use it for grocery runs, and can stay out longer for other errands (saves gas). We all get to use it for camping and road trips.... And no more giant cooler to lug around and ice to buy (more money saved). I just went on a long trip and didn't have to stop to buy expensive food or drink when traveling. Did have to spend a little building a slide, slee battery tray, and a bigger battery, but seems worth it for ease of use.
