Installing these LEDs seems to be a popular and cost effective way of rock lighting your rig. They come in sets of 20 and I bought 3 sets for the hell of it. I'll only use one set for rock lighting and use the rest in other applications. They are pretty damned bright and 20 will light up the night. I'm just waiting on an order of rare earth magnets to get started.

What are these called, and where (likely on ebay) do we find them?

Any pictures at night or how you are applying them?

Thanks. Ordered some and will play with them.... I wonder how much light comes out of these?

They are pretty bright actually. A set of 20 should do the job very well. I'm probably going to install 30 or so and also 20 blue LEDs on a separate circuit.

Those are nice. We've got a couple in the shop. Love 'em. I'm going to use a set myself when I get around to installing them.
Do y'all sell them? Didn't see any small rock lights on your site.

Here are those lights I posted about earlier on. 21 lights here and there around the chassis. Great lighting for setting up camp or working under the truck.

Damn son!!! How'd you wire them in?

One long string in groups of two, three or four lights starting at the front right wheel well. Just work your way around the truck ending at the front. If you can keep the lights in groups of three with runs of wire between them it should only take a few hours. If you are more strategic and wiring in singles or doubles you have a lot more soldering and shrink wrapping to do. If you clean off the placement point the adhesive is plenty strong to hold the lights but I did make mounts in the wheel wells.
