Tried searching, didn't find anything useful.

Wondering about rock/undercarraige lights. What are folks using?

Has anybody tried these Wurton Pod lights? I see they are a MUD vendor now, trying to be supportive of those that support this site.

Wish the photos were better. How big are they? How did you mount them? Any better photos?

I'm using round eye led's there brighter in person

Hmmm... so the "junction" box where they all plug into, does that get installed under the vehicle? How weatherproof is it? How did you mount the lights? Not sure I want 8 of them, can you hook up fewer?

Is the wireless remote the only way to turn them on? Or can I just have a toggle switch on the dash to turn them on and off? Doesn't look like it.

Website is pretty vague... even the "new" site. Maybe I'll give them a call.

THANKS!! :beer::beer:

The contol box has on/off push buttons. The remote isn't required and i don't think I've ever used it. I mounted it with velcro on the driver side kick panel with junction box in the engine compartment (it's not waterproof so not ideal). also cut/drilled steel brackets for mounting the pods, 4 per side.

Thanks, that is very useful info, and the photos are a great help. Nice job on the wiring. Not sure I'm OK with the non-weatherproof junction box, I'll have to think about that. Maybe I'll order it up so I can see it in person.

HERE is what we have been selling - little LED's for rock lights. Have sold a few of them and customers like them so far. I'll be installing one in each wheel well and one or two on each bumper looking down.

$9 ea
Lifetime warranty on the lights - just don't crunch them into a rock.

cool. Nice to see another option. Nothing fancy, just wire 'em to a relay and go.

Whatever you get you will be happy. On a trip this summer my buddy and I ran slick rock's ladder at night. It was helpful with rock lights.

The next night I spotted a buddy in who had no lights and we used 1 small flashlight since we were waiting for him before the sun set. It was not easy.

The pic is of out junk at the trail head. I used a company called plasma LEDs 3 watts I used the sharp angle ones. Wide would be better. Mines on the left.

They even come in handy when unloading the truck or if I'm setup camping farther away from the truck I leave the lights on to find my way to it.

I used to think the lights were just for crawlers, but they are handy.

Anyone know how bright the red is? I thought about running the white but at night time running red sounds like it would be better for your eyes when adjusting.

We have red, blue, amber and whites at the shop now. Ordered more today too.

These look great. I am worried about how to mount them, the spread of the beam, and how bright they are.

They flush mount. You can drill a hole in the body or use a little tab. Mounting is easy.

Each light puts out enough light to see around a wheel if you don't block the light beam. Of call it a flood pattern.

I'll get some pics today of the different colors.
