Might have to look at going this route as the Slee rear gets further and further out in availability with every update. 7 weeks ago it was 6-8 weeks- if all others in line complete their order, now 7 weeks later it’s 3-6 months out 😬
Anyone know the ‘current’ wait/fab time on these?

I ordered back on March 15th, he shipped May 16th. Mine was probably longer though i had several custom changes he did for me.

Can be a matter of days if you buy mine. ;)

Ill stop by james shop tomorrow and check out his current timeline. Dude stays busy with military contracts.

Thought I'd post up some pics finally of the metal masterpiece James was able to whip up for me. I went a little custom because i needed the shorter arms of a dual swingout to be able to clear the propane tank thats on the tongue of my trailer. I also just wanted dual swingouts to add more mounting possibilities. James was a pleasure to work with, and was awesome when i told him i needed changes that he was happy to do whatever i wanted. So, i was able to add a 3 jerry basket, with a step on top i can use as a ladder. This just bolts on to swing arm with 6 bolts so can easily be changed out in the future if i end up wanting something else. I also added the Roadvision 3-way lights i got from Jason at Trail tailor (who was also a big help sharing his advice and knowledge on lighting). Well very happy with the end result, and was great to work with a custom guy like James that was able to really incorporate all the features i liked from various other bumpers in his own stylish way. Installing it tomorrow with a couple local club guys. I ended up painting in black bedliner so it should be easy to touch up in the future.

They are spacers for the license plate mount.

Nice mods. Why did you end up with half an a arm on the tire carrier? Did you build a Trax mount anywhere?

s
No they capture bolts from the side into the frame. I'll take a photo when I get home soon.
I must have mine assembled wrong . . . You’ve got them on the outside of the Wing brackets joining to the fender?

Yep, but I guess the bumper wing would go in below :). And yes, those pinch welds just bend out of the way.

I used separately purchased carriage bolts for this so ended up using them to space the license plate bracket back off the bumper. Getting those nuts on was a pain - this looks much easier! I wanted the rounded head of the carriage bolt for cosmetic reasons.

awesome please do, starting the install in the next couple hours.

Oh crap, I'm sorry, I forgot when I got home. I'll try to remember tomorrow.

I did not have to cut any of the pinch welds. But extending those parking sensors was a total PITA.

Why bend the wings when you have a helper like @TexAZ that can spend sparks flying cutting them off? Much more dramatic this way

Curious what you'll do about the license plate.

There is no way in hell that would pass annual inspection in my state, covering the taillights like that. I wouldn't feel safe driving like that. Maybe it's the camera angle. Are the lights down low in the bumper replacing the taillights?

The lights in the bumper include brakes and indicators.

OK, finally remembered to go out and take a few snaps. Like I said, I didn't have to cut any of the bodywork or do any welding. It was a struggle getting the bumper installed with the side "wing" pieces bolted on, but I left them really loose and was able to slide it on. Put the little slim piece on FIRST that covers the gap under the tailgate.

Those little captured nut brackets go on the inside face of the frame rails. These photos remind me that I need to pull all the hardware and swap it out for stainless. First picture is the driver's side, the second is the best I could to to get the little bracket, it's very close to the spare tire. Hope these help, yes I know I need to wash my truck.
