it's that time again! the third annual rising sun rally. saturday august 9th at jeffco schools stadiums in lakewood, co. 10a-3p. we'll also be four wheeling on sunday. come on out and join rising sun and about 400 other toyota enthusiasts and vendors for a day of showing off and swapping parts! for more info you can hit up the risingsun4x4club.org website.

As an out of state visitor to the Rally last year I can attest that this is a fun event. And yes, this was a shameless plug that provided no useful information except to have the post moved to the top. :grinpimp:

Thank you Pappy for that very shameless plug! I have to wonder who would do such things as post up meaningless babble just for the sake of moving threads to the top so they get noticed? Silly Cruiserheads for sure! I have heard rumor that some twists have been planned to make this great event even more entertaining! Bring on the silly Toy folks....we like it! ;) :D :bounce::bounce:

See you guys there

Associated with the Rally we will be doing three trail runs

The first one leaves the afternoon of the Rally and is limited to 10 trucks due to the camping spot at wheeler lake

The second is one of my favorites, a moderate run to to Red Cone Pass

The third is the easy run to Bill Moore lake.

rocked again! thanks to all who showed! had another great turnout! great to see so many "rare" rigs! we had three beautiful fj45lpbs, a 45lv, bj74, bj70 and a beautiful non us piggie complete with amby doors! fjcruisers galore! not so many pickups this year, not that i'm complaining;), but there were quite a few cool setups. one guy even brought his fj40 chassis with powertrain...doesn't sound like much, but it was immaculate! can't wait to see it with the body attached next time.

still gotta get my pics off the camera, but i know a few have started linking to their photosights on the rising sun website.
