Purchased a set of Fuel Rebel d679 20x9 +20 offset and bore size 110.2 and when I tried to get them installed discount tires showed me they won’t fit over the hub and only can see about to treads of the stud. I have the correct size so what’s the issue?

The 110mm hub bore must go through the entire wheel. If the bore is tapered, or there’s a lip, they won’t work.

Most 5x150 wheels are designed to fit on the Tundra, not the 100 series.

It was the screws on the hub that kept mine from being flush.

Yep that’s usually what it is.
Had that issue before with one of the XD wheels i bought, luckily i have a tundra too and i just threw it on that. Sucks but hope you can return it, or sell it and get some money back.

Yea totally sucks! Then my back hatch wouldn’t open haha i can hear the lock lock and unlock but the handle wouldn’t engage. Then all at once it started working again. Other than these issues i haven’t had any bad luck with my 100
Check the child lock lever on the upper hatch, maybe it's in limbo.
Alpha Equipt ran into this same problem on their 17" 100 offerings. The 100 requires more cavity outwards of the mounting surface than most other vehicles, it seems. If you can't return the wheels, you can look into having that bore machined. A good machine shop should be able to tackle it.
I cannot speak for the 17s, but I can vouch for the 18s.
