Right price for a used 2007 LX 470 with 33k miles?

Vehicle: 2007 LX 470 SUV, 33000 miles, mint condition, white, tow package, clean title, single owner

Context: [I'm not trying to solicit any sales here] I'm trying to sell a 2007 LX 470 and wanted some advice on what price i should settle on. I didn't realize there was such a big community for this until I saw there was so many prospective buyers. Even doing research online using KBB, CarGurus etc., it seems like their suggested value of the car ($15k-$18k) doesn't seem to capture the interest and value of this car, perhaps bc of the low mileage?? On the other hand, CarFax seems to give a much higher value ($28k). I also cannot find any comps since most used LX470s have much higher mileage on it.

Question: I'm struggling to find what the right value is? Some prospective buyers reference KBB evaluation (~$15k), but others are willing to pay much more (~$35k). I'm wondering if this community can help explain to me why there is such a large range, and what you guys think a good price would be to sell?

Thanks in advance!

I would start at $35k.

The market for these is varied. Many here will say that's crazy money for an old Lexus.

The reality is that very few are in REALLY good shape and at that low a mileage very little of the overall car has had a chance to age even slightly (assuming garage kept).

Start at $35k. You'll get some hate mail from people that wouldn't dream of (or simply cannot) pay that much for it, but I bet you get $30-35k if it's in typical shape for that mileage in a non-rusty region.

Show us some pics once you list it!

Thanks suprarx7nut! Yes this has always been in a covered garage and in Northern California it's whole life. Appreciate the advice! We've showed the car to folks already (did it over the past few days), and it's garnered a lot more interest than I thought it would.

This is bringing me back memories when I was looking for my LX. Did you list this for your grampa or something around early 2017? If so I had it bookmarked and looked at it all the time but couldn't afford it, 😂, glws.

The range is not 35-15. Anyone referencing KBB either is clueless or trying to steal it from you. The range should be 33/28 depending on maintenance/condition.

1 owner ultra low miles you will have a few buyers who will pay a premium. If someone wants it for 35 let them have it.

put it on Bat auctions... start at 30k

guys pay a premium here im sure it can get to 40k with the right push.

Looks great! I'm curious about the low miles - How did it come to be used so little? Not even 2500 miles a year, definitely unusual.

Btw if the suspension is stock, it doesnt use air. It uses a special oil.

Hmmm- "Not soliciting sales", but you've joined forum today; sure seems like it went that way. For legitimacy, you might post a link to a recent CarFax.

Thread should be moved to classifieds.
