Rover! I bring the Touareg before that, Mama would kill me. I got a denso rebuilt coming.
And removed the trickle charge when i saw rain coming. But will continue when dry. Might have been a fluke, stuck solenoid maybe, but I already changed contacts and plunger last year on mine.

Still have to troubleshoot front and rear lockers, but I have 4wd again and CDL, so I'm in. Might bring a Jeep buddy if he is up for it (he has 4wd).

for radio, using CB channel?

My Cb is down at the moment but I have some frs radios I was planning to use, we can figure out channels and privacy code when we meet at the gas station
I have CB and FRS
Okay, can leave the Childerns Band Radio at home. FRS can do.
I believe the proper terminology is "Chicken Bander." I work with some hams and they have been putting the screws to me to get licensed but I just haven't made the time.
I’m up for it. How long will it take to drive the road. Kids and wife are wanting to do a hike somewhere afterwards, wondering how much time we might have.
We will loop back to BR around lunch. Moses Cone would be a nice one after that.
If kids wake up i will be there. No gear, havent check the truck but there are a lot of truck that have all the stuff.
Plenty of gear and 30 mins from my house, so no worries.

The Richland Recovery Ride. Driver tried to avoid a fallen tree on the right and drove off the trail on the left. @Izzyandsue got him winched out and on his way
That was fun! I was surprised my dash was rolling the whole time. These poor guys spent the evening stuck, sleeping on truck.
Used almost every piece of recovery gear. I need another tree saver! HiLift jack and Kinetic recovery rope on the front bumper to prevent truck from falling off the sheer side.
We got him out, he was stuck deep in that mud.
