Absolutely. Phillips screwdriver, degreaser, wire brush. Grease her up again and you'll be good to go. 8)

I cleaned up one that was rusted /crapped up pretty badly. Spray painted it yellow and it looks and works as good as new. Easy 1 :banana: job.
 
I'm looking at my jack, part number 03111-89101, from a '76 FJ55 and I don't see any screws, bolts or cotter pins that are holding this thing together. How did you get it apart ???. I've stripped and rebuilt an engine so I know how to handle tools but this looks like a sealed unit to me :(.
 
Hmm. Must be one of those newfangled modern ones. :(
 
I soaked mine in used engine oil for a couple of days, and it work.
