My '82 FJ40 has a bad front Old Man EMU spring (2.5" lift) and instead of replacing it I am thinking about returning my 40 back to the stock height.
What are my options for doing this?
1. Can I keep the OME springs (after replacing the bad one) and just change the shackles to bring the ride height down?
2. Assuming the answer to #1 is "no," can you still get new stock springs? Or, who sells good quality replacements that will yield the stock height? Is it easy to find good quality used stock springs?
Yes, many questions. Sorry. Thanks in advance for your help.
