LOCATION FOR NOV. 1 CLUB MEETING

Saturday Nov 1 @ 6:00PM
The Westy in Hamburg, PA

http://westybarandgrill.com/

We have reserved their semi-private room that holds 16-18 people.

The purpose of this meeting is to determine our direction - do we want to form an official club, or do we want to just have an informal group that plans regular activities?

**LINK TO PROPOSED AGENDA**

We will meet - trying hard to keep the meeting to 1 hour. Then, we will eat. You will need to pay for your own food.

WHEELING ON NOV. 8th @ RAUSCH

Ride is open to anyone who wants to come regardless of location or interest in a club.

Got my front fenders back this weekend, my guy does tremendous work. I've never seen a straighter pair of 40 fenders anywhere. Very little bondo and these are genuine Toyota fenders pretty heavy. Couldn't mount the driver side- my guy is gonna be pissed when i tell him it needs trimmed to clear the FJ60 power steering box and new steering shaft! Got the front bumper finished, too should look good when filled and painted. this is on my 77 project.

Andy- yes I am doing the assemble and mechanical work on my nephew's truck, but not the body work. Gary

Since your fender has to be all chopped up to fit, I'll give you $400 cash for the whole pile of future problems. Look at the rust on that front bumper!! I'll just bring my trailer along to the meeting Saturday to take that problem 40 off your hands...:grinpimp:.

Coastal Cruisers 4WD club based in Vancouver, British Columbia, is pleased to offer its calendar for sale again this year.

More information here:

https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/2015-cc-calendars-shipping-now.821287/

In support of your club re-starting efforts I would be pleased to send you 10 or more calendars for only $10 each (minimum group buy of 10). That's 50% off the individual calendar price.

Perhaps you can put it on your agenda for your meeting on Nov. 1. Calendars are printed and shipping now, so they would be there in about a week or so from ordering.

We found in our club that 'calendar hand-out day' was a popular day to get folks together.

Anyone going tomorrow happen to have the 3 port vac switch that screws into the intake in front of the carb on a 86 fj60? I'm also looking for the thermo switch near the thermostat housing. If you do can you bring it along tomorrow. Thanks Eric.

I would buy a calendar. And pay shipping.
Jim

Sorry guys. Can't make the meeting. Some last minute work came up.

Thank you ALL for attending tonight. Great turnout, and great input from everyone. Exciting stuff!

I am working on getting the minutes typed up and will send something out in the next few days.

For those not able to attend, we will be taking the necessary steps to move forward and become a true TLCA chapter club!

And for the record...Andy has volunteered to be President!

Wish I could have made it - glad to hear the turn out was good. Hopefully next time!

Also, let me know if I can help in any way - I know there's a couple of 40's (and plenty of misc. Toyota trucks) down here in "no man's land." (Northern MD/Southern PA/DE area). Maybe I can spread the word some.
