I've been trying to explain to @John Young where I live... he always thinks I live in Edmonton, after many years. Not sure what got into his head. Who outside of Canada has even heard of Edmonton?
It is the Neon Museum

And Marty McFly / Michael J Fox

And probably the 1998 Winter Olympics.

When I think Canada, I think Toronto and Vancouver and Ontario. I know you don't live in any of those places so what is left? Edmonton. Is there another city in Canada? If so, I can't remember it. But I hope to rectify my lack of knowledge over the next few years.

Looking to get a Turbo rebuild kit for Andrew's Garrett turbo. Any reputable turbo dealers in lower mainland?

It’s been a number of years but my 13BT CT26 was rebuilt at BD Turbo division. It’s been good.

Had my windshield replaced on the 80 in Dec. Brian’s Autoglass in Abby. Great job. Knows Toyotas and knows both sides need sealing. Kal was the tech.

what did the service set you back?

Shouldn't it just be your icbc deductible? You can call icbc, ask for a claim number for your windshield and you're set

As above...deductible. The shop looked after it all.

Ahh thanks I have not got a claim just weighing options....

I think the claim is the way to go; it doesn't affect your insurance.

no doubt. I ended up re/re the windshield myself to check for rust. Big PITA.

Can anyone let me know what I should about Coastal Offroad in Delta? Looking at one of their kits.

So I'm not getting anything definitive but been told this guy packed up and moved to Grand Forks?
He wrote a good article about fitting wheel/tires to Tundra's.

I don't know anything about Coastal Offroad, but possibly confused with Cruisin' Offroad? Jason packed up and moved to Grand Forks a few years ago.

It's a different company. To be honest I found it weird them operating under the radar right in Vancouver. I still have my 60 & 74
but I also just recently got a 2010 RCSB Tundra for winter / daily farm truck duties. I'm a truck guy, it still has to be fixed up.
Guy seems smart, blog article about how to fit 37" tires on stock Gen 2 Tundra. Without cutting fenders. Nice bumper kits,
sells kits only. All CNC of course and I have a friend fitted and welded one up for a guys 4Runner. It's nice stuff.
But seriously what really is starting to piss me off is this new generation 'contact us' - form on website which seems to be
ignored by the last 3 vendors I've queried.

Sorry, I meant maybe whoever told you Coastal Offroad had packed up and moved to GF may have had them confused with Cruisin Offroad.

With you 100% there.

Exactly what happened I think. If it wasn't for the little fir trees logo on the bumper I'd have not figured it out. I have a set of
Cruisin' Offroad sliders for my 60. But speaking of Grand Forks isn't there another guy there who built a stubby 60 that was
fairly epic in it's day? I think he was on the forum way back - 10-12 yrs and seems to just grown away from it.
Guys with builds like that are what gave me the juice to do the mods and learn to do the things I've learned.

Coastal Offroad finally reached out to me. Got an email today so I whipped off a bunch of questions and when he
replies to that I expect I'll be ferrying over to Delta for a weekend and go see what's up. I'm quite curious.
Then a trip over the Whipsaw, and visit family by Coalmont/Tulameen. Maybe wander off into the interior.

My son Andrew built a Coastal Offroad Rear bumper for his 60. Went together well and is pretty stout.

Vince is in GF with the bobbed 60 with supercharged (yes, supercharged) 3B on 40's. I have his contact info if you need to reach him.

I've always wanted to see that 60. So when the time comes to go to GF I'll get ahold of you so you can warn him I'm coming.

I think my alternator is done on my 2006 LX470: battery light came on, super low volts, radio went on and off etc..

I can’t replace it at my house - can anyone recommend a shop in the greater Vancouver area?
