Replacing inner c-channel question (1 Viewer)

I order the replacement inner c-channels and have been cutting out the old ones and have a question on the rivets for the rear shackle mount. Are they also welded on or just riveted in? I’m asking because I’m wondering if I should remove the shackle from the mount before I knock out those rivets holding it in place.

The only weld is a short tack at the front of the c channel. Take the shackle out so you have more room to work.
