Looking for an alternative to replacing the complete track bar/panhard. No interest in using poly so does anyone made a rubber factory style replacement bushing worth a :poop:

Found some Febest on line but this comes from the guy that scream only OEM bushing when it comes to all 80 series control links.

Any feedback positive or neg on 100 series Febest track bar bushings

New track bar from Toyota ~$222
2 Febest bushings ~$27 and I have a press:hmm:

I've used febst for a number of bushings on my 2000. Only had a problem with one so far, but that was more than likely from what and how I was doing something with the truck. But I personally wouldn't blink an eye at using them for the pan hard bar. In fact that's one of the only original bushings left on my truck, I should probably order some too.

I know @cruiseroutfit stocks those bushings for 80 series, have you checked with him on the 100 stuff?

Yup, we stock em all. OEM and aftermarket:

Rear Track Bar/Panhard - Aftermarket Rubber Part# SUSB48740AFT - $34.50/each (2 required/vehicle)

The 100 Rear Track bar is the only spot we haven't sourced an OEM option as well. Aftermarket only. Ours are coming from a supplier we've used for 20+ years out of India, they make suspension parts for many companies in the Toyota realm. We've been selling their 80 Series control/panhard bushings for 5+ years with good results so we were comfortable adding them to the system when we flushed out our 100 offerings too.

We've used some random Febest bushings for different applications and had OK results, some of their rubber is junk and deteriorates such as their upper coil spring pads. My 2 cents :D

Through convoluted cross-referencing, I have suspicions the panhard bushing from a '03+ GX470 might work but I have not tried it yet. :meh:

Interesting. My supplier shows a different aftermarket part number for the GX470 (well Prado 120) than they do the 100/470. Not to say that won't fit as it very well may. Keep us posted!

@LandCruiserPhil Thanks for being the guinea pig! If by chance they don't work, I'd consider fabricating a panhard bar that does use replaceable OEM bushings.

Fwiw, our aftermarket: Part# SUSB48740AFT dimensions
A: 14.30
B: 36.25
C: 39.90
D: 49.90

These are confirmed fit on a 100 rear. So, your numbers are VERY close and I can't imagine why they wouldn't work. Sounds like I need to get some OE's ordered and pass on the aftermarket. :D Generally aftermarkets are 25-50% the cost of the OE but in this case my landed cost is HIGHER than the OE

Nice sleuthing!

Big thanks to @hoser for the research:clap:

Good timing I need to finalize the panhard riser bracket Im working with Delta on for the 100 series so the bar will be off already. Like it was meant to be.

Bushing should be here on Tuesday :D

I have a set and they measure correctly and should work without issue. The only issue i could not get them from a US dealer.

We'll have a batch of them stateside soon too! :D

Good to know gives me no reason to stock them then:) so I can get them from you

Rumored to also work with 4runner FJC and GX470 panhards

How did 48706-60060 end up working out? I noticed they're not on the Cruiser Outfitters site, so I'm curious if there were any issues.

You might want to call them--that website is not always up-to-date with what they actually have.

I don't see a definite answer here and just wanted to confirm that Toyota Bushing 48706-60060 will work in the Panhard / Track bar for a 100-Series.
