I have a 2000 lx470 and both front seat leathers are in poor state.
The leather on the back is much better. It's just the seat leather that's in terrible condition.

Can I purchase just the seat leather instead of the whole chair (seat and back, including the headrest)?
If not, can you suggest where I can buy the replacement leather seat cover that matches the original seat cover in design/stitching and color?

The interior is in a beige color

Thanks

Katzkin might be the best option out there for going full boat on all the seats.

Wolfman/Hot Rod makes the bottoms and they are excellent. Photo attached of mine that were just installed. These are from a LC but he has both options.

Search for “seat covers” or “leather” will turn up a few more options.

For the price ($200/bottom) why choose these over Ridies/Etc?

If you’re referring to the Wolfman/hotrod seat bottoms I chose, I’m not an expert, but from the research I did on these and Ridies, Lseats, etc.. It seems like these are better quality materials and better fit. I would expect they hold up longer and the upfront cost difference was fairly minimal, especially when the installation is a big part of the cost since I didn’t do it myself.

If you’re talking about the Katzkins, probably same answer in terms of quality and how long they last, again this is just based on what I hear about how the Ridies look after a few years. The other benefit with the Katskins is they have a pretty substantial warranty and if you want to add seat heaters/coolers, they have an integrated solution for that.

I bought a full set from Ridies - will never do so again. The installer had to modify to get them on right and the driver seat bottom is already starting to fade after 2 years and 25K miles.

I've heard amazing things about Mosely Motors and I have Katzkin in my son's 4Runner, which have held up great. The Wolfman/Hotrod looks solid too.

Just my $.02 from experience...

That's the best looking aftermarket cover I've seen. Is this Hot Rod Upholstery?
Yes it is Wolfmans Auto & Cycle aka hotrodupholstery.com

Did Katzkin begin making products for the 100? I recall looking in to them before and they did not at the time.
I believe Katzkin bought Roadwire and now has the patterns that Roadwire had for the 100.

Mine is an 05 and Katzkin tells me they don’t have a pattern for it, but that’s just someone in a customer service center, the upholstery shop I used which is a Katzkin dealer said they do have a pattern for 100s both with and without side airbags in front seats.

You have two options, Here is a thread with some information

You can buy replacement leather, or faux material, and remove all of the existing material. This is the longer and harder way so make sure if you do this you buy high quality material. This involves working with hog rings and upholstering the seat from scratch sort of. You may also want to replace seat foam if you go this deep. Or steam it.

The much easier way is to go to a website like Caltrend or similar and find a material you like. I've recently switched to Cordura and it's a really nice fit for my particular needs. The covers are custom fit for the seat but are still just slip on covers.

I went through the trouble of both options. Fully restored the leather from land cruiser heaven, then got paranoid I / my dog would damage the leather so covered it with Cordura . If I could do it again I would have just put the slip on covers on from day 1 before my seats were even that bad .

Id never do ridies again either. Mine look like hell again after a few years and ridies conveniently reduced their warranty down from 2-3? years to 1 year. They ghosted me when I asked about my warranty when my seats started cracking.

Got any photos of the fitment on those Cordura covers? I may be in for those with their early Black Friday sale!

Edit: searched your posts and found photos. Thx!
