It is a shame that there isn't sufficient demand. While a few people on mud are interested in these, that is just about the extent of the customer base. Most hardcore cruiser fanatics crazy enough to restore a 55 (I'm one of those wierdos) are on mud. I just don't see the target market being big enough to be able to sell a bunch quickly, which is what required by our Middle Eastern Metal Master Eshan.
To make this work, it basically takes a company with enough extra cash to buy all of Eshan's stock and then distribute it at a significant markup. If SOR hasn't done it yet, no one else probably ever will. I know it is pessimistic, but a large amount of those capable enough to cleanly install panels are also capable of fabricating a lot on their own. On the west coast there are still parts pigs in some junkyards with usable panels that are much cheaper than even the cost of reproduction. It almost seems more profitable to collect random pigs and chop up and distribute refurbished panels if demand actually existed.
Now fenders there is demand for. They are bolt on and installable by the shadetree mechanic.

job. I bet a mint fender can fetch $600-700 on eBay if they were slowly released. I still don't see the feasibility in floorboards unless if you go with a replacement without any of the standard ribbing and special tooling.
