I need to replace the bushings that were in my Man-a-fre UCA's. Can anyone point me to a site that has a large variety of options in the size I need? The part number I found on the old bushing doesn't bring anything up.

  • Outer Bushing Dia. 44mm / 1.73"
  • Inner Bushing Dia. 24mm / .95"
  • Outer Tube Length ~36mm / 1.4"
  • Inner Sleeve Length ~60mm / 2.36"

I'm pretty sure that's a Daystar part number molded into the bushing. I can't find anything on their website though...might be worth a phone call and talk to a person.

Does Manafre sell replacements?

No, I called them about a month ago regarding this. They haven't sold these arms for several years and he didn't have any info on them. Said he believes they were re-branded metal tek UCA's. Metaltek doesn't sell this style UCA anymore (if they ever did)

If you know what the durometer rating is on the polyurethane you can just have new bushings machined.

Thanks Joey. I'm getting tired of the pain in the ass this is becoming. The amount I'd save by replacing the heims and bushings over just buying a new set of arms is quickly making this venture not worth it.

I'm looking at the metal tech upper control arms, but just need them to confirm that they can adjust shorter than factory length. As my last set didn't and I had to cut the tube down and weld the bushing sleeve back on. Not something I was happy to do to new links straight out of the box.

Joey do you know the length of the factory link?

The stock link is ~15 3/4" center to center. That one looks like it has been broken and weld back together? The only broken links that I have seen had poly or joints in them. The stock bushings work well and are durable, I would replace them with links that use stock bushings. My first choice would be stock links.

Had to cut them down about 1-2 inches. The paint came off when I cleaned the arm.

Seems like OEM isn't an option here but if it is, partsouq.com is a place to go.
