Let's hopeLots of nonAHC '06 LCs out there.
I would start with the shocks, almost no duplicate labor (v springs and shocks) and Toyota OEM shocks are cheap, last, and handle nicely.
Searching around here you will find this consensus.
Try to give some more info about what you don't like, if it changed drastically, and what you're trying to accomplish.
What don't you like about the handling? Is this a stock truck staying stock or a truck you want to build up?
Is your front sway bar system intact? They do fail with some regularity and will change the feel significantly.
The front has springs, only that they are not coiled up. They are called Torsion Bars (TB for shrt), and are adjustable. Adjust to keep the right height, and to balance out any L/R lean.... Also, I was under the impression that the front, as well as the rear, has springs - apparently that is not the case...
I have had my 2006 LC for almost a year; and at 155K miles, I'm not happy with the ride. I'm thinking of replacing all 4 shocks with OEM, and was wondering if it would be advisable to replace the springs, as well.
