Reno Land Cruisers?

So is anyone else going to be at the Oct. 10 BBCNN meeting? Looking forward to putting some faces and names together. Got the LX back together and just got back from a 2600 mile road trip. Loved the Med/Med OME's, really helped with all of the weight. Hope the Reno Land Cruisers can make it for the meet and greet.

Im probably going to sit this one out. Ive been working weekends since spring, so this will be one of the first FULL weekends off ive had in a while...
With that being said, Ive been out wheeling in the weekends I have had off, so I thought Id hang with the wife.
You guyz have fun and Ill maybe catch up on the run in Novemeber if the rig isnt torn apart.

Also, with you having a 62, have you thought about doing a 3rd member swap with a late 40/60 owner. They have 3.7's and may want to switch you for your fine spline 4.10's, then you just have your new gears, bearing, lockers put in their old 3rd's. Just a thought. Might be able to work out a few bucks for your trouble. If nothing else, make sure you get your parts back and then sell them.

Ditto. Just got back from NN wheel'n, tent'n and hunt'n...oh yeah and run'n over about 20-jack rabbits that just had to run under the wheels of my 100 at night in the desert

I'm a Truckee guy, does that count? Reno's about a 45 minute drive from here. It would be awesome to go wheeling with you guys. I only know about the Truckee/Tahoe trails and really nothing about Nevada stuff. When is the next meet?

The Battle Born Cruisers of Northern Nevada are planning on running Bronco Canyon next month. If you check their TLC page, scroll down the forum jump menu below, they post up when and where on the meetings and runs. Also, this was my first meet and run with them. Some super nice people, they will make you feel welcome.

We have meetings the second Tuesday of every month. Unless it falls on a holiday. Meeting times and locations are posted on our club corner here on Mud and on our web site. Unfortunatly our web site is broken and will not allow new users to register.

As Jack mentioned we have a trail run scheduled for Bronco Canyon in November, there are some pytroglyphs just north of that area. I'm sure we could work a side trip in to the schedule for those interested.

We are going to try and make the next meeting and run. Darcie truly is my co-pilot, she's been everywhere with me. I usually make her drive more. She drove the first half of the lower portion of Outer Limits in Johnson Valley.

It was...although it was kind of hot for hunting it made for nice camping. Finally getting "one" with the trailer...it takes me a while to get things dialed in.

It always take a while to get all of the bugs/details worked out on new accomodations. So was everything still up high because of the heat?

No...down low on the water...a couple hundred yards max from water source.

I was cruis'n south on Virginia this afternoon and spotted a Landcruiser 75 with a factory looking camper...I have never seen it or another like it...pretty cool.
