Man that sucks , I hope this works out . I remember you. Saying you also lent him some parts to reproduce so this really is a bad deal. Hope he steps up and does the right thing . I know first hand how it feels to be burned by a respected member.Karma is a bitch and hopping for the best .

I had an issue from them but Justin was very fast at fixing the issue, I ordered a bumper and radiator guard on 7/2 and it shipped 7/14 after about two weeks of it shipping I had not received anything, so I gave him a call and he did some digging and found out that my bumper and a guy from New Mexico's bumper arrived at Henderson Colorado but never anything beyond that. He stepped up that night and packaged up a new bumper and radiator guard and got them to me in less than a week. He did say something about parts that he ships go missing at Henderson Colorado every once and a while. I give kudos to Justin for sending me one after it was "lost" in Henderson.
 
So who lives in Henderson that has a FJ40 or 45 or? And works in the shipping department . He should at least touch bases with you on your parts .
 
He never gave me any reason not to believe it, its plausible Fedex loses packages all the time. Justin seemed like a sincere guy so I believe the story. All i know is that I'm happy with the bumper and radiator guard, very good quality for what I paid.
 
i have over 3000 sales on ebay and more on other sites and have never had a package lost.every crook i ever met seemed like a sincere person ,sorry geuss i have been through this to many times
 
Honestly I'm at the point where I think its just my bad luck. I ordered an oem roll bar from metal tech 4x4 and all that showed up this morning was my mounting brackets, they lost the whole roll bar portion...:bang:
 
I have done business with Justin several times and he has always been very fair. Hope he
works everything out with you.
 
Yowza! I just placed an order from Justin for a roll cage for my fj60. I hope the previously mentioned issues are resolved & I do not experience the same issue. Justin did seem like a nice guy on the phone. However, after reading this, my tolerance for excuses, if they come, will be short at best. As a matter of coincedence, I'll be in Co Springs on a work trip in a few weeks.
Justin - if you're out there, I'm REALLY looking forward to getting my roll cage in a timely manner :)
 
Glad he got in touch with you Splangy and is taking care of the issue. I can't say enough good things about Justin. I have never met him in person, although I hope to some day. I bought a set of RedLine tube doors for my 40 from a MUD member. They were brand new and had never been installed, just sat in his garage for a few years. When I went to put the paddle latches in, I couldn't figure out why there were locks in the latches. I contacted Justin and he laughed saying that a few years ago he had taken some time off to go to an event and left someone at his shop in charge. They inadvertently threw a set of his mock up latches in the box with an order and he could never figure out where they went. He insisted on sending me new latches on his dime. I offered to pay shipping and he refused. Remember, I didn't buy the doors from him so he had no reason to lie or ship me parts for free. Got the latches quickly. I go to install the doors and the door strikers are the wrong ones because the guy who bought the doors had an early tub which used different strikers than my 78. So, once again I called Justin and he gladly sent me the strikers needed AT NO CHARGE. He would not allow me to even pay for shipping. Seems to be a stand-up guy to me.
 
Splangy I'm really glad to hear he got back to you, I have been to the old shop and and he a great encounter. We have wheeled together in the past and always srepped up to help out anyone who needed help. Sucks you had problems I can honestly say I forget shipping stuff all the time ( maybe its age maybe its because work takes over and it really is just a hobby for me ). I know its hard starting a thread about someone who overall shows the same passion we do for our Cruisers. I would not think twice about calling him for anything. Hope it all works out
 
I'll chime in.

I've dealt with Spangly and Justin. I would do so again without hesitation. I've never met Spangly but I've met Justin. We've wheeled together, hung out and completed numerous flawless business transactions.

Glad to hear there's progress being made.

I know Justin very well. He helped me out when my daughter rolled her cruiser in the springs, was there in an hour with a trailer, took it to his shop and fixed the hydrolocked engine. Great service and reasonable charge

I also have come to know him personally and he is a stand up guy with Integrity. I don't say that about a lot of people.

He has worked on many rigs in my club and not one time have I ever heard a complaint, only praise for his work and customer service.

I can't comment on the originators issue, but glad it worked out. Things happen even dealing with good people. Running a growing business is hard

Now, if I could only get Shane to ship me the seat covers I paid $900 for over 6 months ago...I'll give him a few more weeks to respond to the texts, emails and PM's I sent....
 
CAUTION: Jury is still out on my end. I received one box with about 1/3 of parts I ordered about a week ago, no paperwork. I called Justin & he said he would be sending 3 boxes total a few days apart "to give the fed ex guy a break...". If that doesn't sound like BS, I don't know what does. I'll give it this week to get resolved. Will update at end of week. in the meantime, I would not recommend this vendor.

So you ordered a week ago and your complaining here and not recommending as a result of only getting part of your delivery so far????

Your attacking a mans character based on this??

Now if it was a month I could see you getting frustrated. Seems this is still in the window you work it out 1:1 with the vendor.
