So I guess I'm cool now according to Ige and mike...actually they didn't say that but what the heck!! We found a 1960 25 series 3 miles from the shop today! So we will need to name her and get her running. So here ya go!!! :). It almost feels like a one in a life time chance to fall into it. I'm pumped!!

Did that Radio come stock with the FJ25?

No, Land Cruisers didn't have an "in dash" stock radio until some time in the mid 70's

73 model first had radio opening in the bottom of the dash. My white 25 must have had a radio in the same spot. When the PO had it restored they filled the hole. #16 in the count still has a radio in that spot. The main down side is the tire pressure plaque gets removed.

Be sure and add this 25 to the count. The group has the flip your bezel in the 25 group it's flip your Tbird. This one is upside down.

This looks like a pretty good survivor. But we need more pictures.

Both vacuum wipers and the gas cap. both hard to find items. Not sure it even appears to have the correct 16" 25 wheels. But doesn't seem to have the spare. Curious what that bumper was off of, Jeep? Doesn't look wide enough to work on a FJ45. Not sure if the front bumper is stock or one made to look like it but stronger. Not that I'm saying the early bumper was light duty.

Looking at the front crossmember this is a earlier 60 if it is in fact a 60 and not earlier title as a 60. Which means it should have the goofy front motor mount and tall battery/tool box under the driver's seat.

Spare tire carrier on the back has been added. You can see the holes on the passenger's for the stock carrier.

Is that the stock turn signal switch handle I see? Be very careful with that. I suggest taking the switch apart and lubing so it operates freely.

Congratulations on a worthy project.

I think you'll find that it's earlier than 1960, though. What is the vin?

looks much better on big computer screen than my phone. you still suck ;)

Thanks guys! I plan on getting it running and driving down the road as is! Im going to do a video or 2 on the process! The vin states it as a 1960! Vin is 9-fj25-13139L
It has the OE motor!
I'm pumped!

Ok, so I put mystery oil in the cylinders, put oil in it. come to find out the oil leaks right out of the drain plug> there is no hex shape on the drain plug so I'm assuming something else is in there in place of it! I'm going to hit here with the power washer tomorrow and find out! Clutch is locked up, blinker is locked up. Brakes work and the trans is stuck in neutral! Fun stuff!

Added you in as #137 in the Count. You got ahead in the line because someone had snuck a 40 in there..................just waiting for the next 25 to come along and fix it.;) Have fun with the new toy!
