These people lived and died a hundred years before I was born and Land Cruisers began cruising the earth.

Looks like a fun trip! Just realized I missed your question regarding the fire restrictions. What'd you find out? It seems like every year as soon as summer starts the fire restrictions go into place. I can't remember a year where we didn't have any fire restrictions up here. I just use my propane campfire most of the time.

Fire danger is low up there. No dust, no sweat. Four days no shower is all good. Haha

I have true concerns for certain goings on here on the left coast but the weather is stellar!!
As someone born in Spokane... who graduated Highschool in Tacoma... I know exactly what you mean.

@spyduh talked myself, @Broski and @Noahrob to sign up for the Sierra Trek event in August. Maybe you can join us.
Sounds amazing, but been planning w/ some friends since October. Me and 5 other rigs coming out from Colorado. We plan to be at the trail head 7/19 (monday)

Thanks for the invite though

you talk to every single person on this planet. don't you. I haven't see a single person you haven't talked to!
I also found a woman’s cell phone and returned it to her before they drove off. When I was in Truckee having lunch on the sidewalk this guy who was obviously from Texas sat down next to me. I struck up a conversation about his cheap sunglasses and the fact that his stupid ass mask didn’t match his wrangler shirt. Come to find out he owns a 94 80 with only 130k. Talking to other people is very rewarding.

Lunch in Truckee and 90 minutes later atop signal peak. Land Cruiser!

Now that's funny! I usually go very much out of my way to avoid contact with random species of human.

Steve for the sake of humanity, please don't ever become an Uber driver

I guess I’m going to run Fordyce. Pretty much committed at this point. First river crossing done.

This Fordyce trail is tough but also fun. I like night wheeling.

The situation became more serious at winch hill three. I’m about ten minutes past it about to bed down.
