Recommendations for a Mechanic in St. Paul, MN

New poster, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good F2 mechanic is the St. Paul, MN area. This is for a complete rebuild of my 79' F2 engine.

3 votes for Steve works for me! I already attempted to call him, hopefully he returns my message.

Once I get the FJ unburied from the garage I will snap some pics. Its been a few years since I have touched it. The wife gave the ok to "spend" the money to get it finished. Which means I can get the remaining cowl section from Aqualu to pair up with the aluminum tub I got from them awhile back. Since the engine has already been removed I just need to drop it off for the rebuild.

I plan on painting it myself which should be interesting...

Keep that timeframe in mind and you will do well. Steve runs a small shop like myself, and because he is good, he is also very busy.

You are close enough that you should really consider just taking some time to pay a visit down there and check the place out for yourself. Once you meet Steve in person, you will understand.

If you are willing to wait, you will not be disappointed.
