Any of you folks running a receiver hitch cargo carrier on the back of your rig? If so, post up pics or info on what you have. I am trying to find a carrier to use this deer season and am worried about clearing the bumperettes, and most websites don't give info on the pin to carrier dimension.

Thanks in advance.

Get a receiver extension or remove the bumperettes. I've also used an extension that adds tilt up capability and gives you some extra clearance.

Had the basket from a different swing-out that I had bought. I had a guy doing some welding for me and he added a 2" aluminum tube to it to fit the receiver. It sticks out a heck of a lot further than if I had the bemperettes still on it so that it will clear the spare and jerry can carrier.

This is the custom one my dad had built 12 years ago.

I am deciding how to paint it after I get it blasted, or sell it and run stock bumperettes. It has built in boxes to run stock lights.

It also has tabs which rest on the bumper which support side to side weight.
