Our ‘01 LC has been having intermittent issues with what we believe to be the torque converter locking up, which caused the car to stall when it moved to idel. This morning, it appears the issue has magnified as the gears won’t engage when put in drive or reverse. Assuming worst case scenario that the transmission is toast, I am looking for any potential leads on best places to get the transmission rebuilt.
I have called a couple of local transmission shops who have indicated the transmission has been discontinued and they cannot help…
Any insight or leads from other mudders would be greatly appreciated. We are located in Maryland, Baltimore metro area.
