My rear window problem started when I put my top back on in a hurry because I was leaving town and it was starting to rain. So I only put in four corner bolts to ensure it would not come off while I was gone. I tried putting the window up but it wouldnt move so I covered it with a tarp. (like a noob i did not realize that you needed to put the interlock bolts in) I told my dad before I left and while I was gone left it with a friend who is a mechanic but all he managed to do was take it apart then didnt touch it for two weeks. To make a long story short ive decided to do fix it myself and ive tested the circuit the power stops at the relay and I dont feel a clicking when apply power with the switch. There is power goin to relay but not coming out so I am suspecting the relay. I just need to know where to go from here. All help is appreciated thanks

Ive looked at this site. I guess my question is the problem with the relay if i can get the rear wiper to work but not the window?

If you only put in four corner bolts ... that is your problem. There is a bolt on the drivers side that "makes contact with the cover top switch." This bolt is necessary to let the truck "know" the top is on and the window can work safely. This bolt is the second from the back, about in the middle.

Also, from the FSM, "While the cover top is removed, never reinstall bolt "B" for the purpose of operating the back door power window. If bolt "B" is installed to the deck directly, the cover top switch may get damaged due to over protrusion of the bolt."

Bottom line. Install this bolt and your window will work.

I have installed all the bolts. Before I started taking it apart to test the electrical circuit. I need to know if the relay is the problem if the wiper works but not the window?
