Long story short, I stripped the spindle threads. Don't ask, it's not important, but I'm dumb. What is important is getting this thing out of my garage. I have a replacement lock washer, lock nut and screws. What is the thread size of the spindle thread? Any tips on fixing this booger without replacing the entire axle assembly?

I see this tool. Can something like this help me? amazon rethreader I can get the nut on easily until about the 4th thread and there is an abrupt stop. TIA

That video is the lamest demonstration of a product I've ever viewed.
@Kernal, time to provide a better video.

This topic (damaged spindle threads of a spindle) hasn't come up much in the past, maybe check the you tubes

I don't have the tool but confirmed M45x1.5 is the correct die size for the rear spindle threads (full float 80 Series).

I meant that now you have the tool, make a good video.
I got the tool in over the weekend but just got into town. Went home at lunch and was able to run the die easily over the damaged threads. Then the locking nut went on perfectly. @Kernal please update your post to reflect the correct size of the OD of the spindle and thanks for all your help! The size is M45 X 1.5

ETA: it was easy to run the die just by hand, no wrench required. A video would be boring

Cheapest Die I could find

Now I gotta button it up properly so we do not have this problem again.
