Rear Sil replacement

I decided to replace my rear SIL today. I had the lower part made at a local fab shop out of 1.5" x 3" x 1/8" tube with 3" angle welded where the body mounts are. Here are some pics of my progress...

for some, a 6" pipe might be overkill - but I know how you drive

looks good Chuck! Did you use the original rubber mounts beneath the new steel?

I did the same thing and used the original mounts ... looks good Chuck! Can't wait to wheel with ya and that piggie...

Any picks of the underneath? I have to do this this as well since the rear sill and the body mounts are toast.
