Morning all,
In the process of installing some additional sound deadening in the back of my LX, I incorrectly thought that I'd disconnected the yellow connector on the driver's side second row seats, pulled the wires out of the rear of the female side. I now have an airbag light on on the dash, and looking at diagrams/typical connector colors in our trucks, I believe I've jacked up the airbag connector.
My question is twofold: 1- Is there a good way to determine what the positive and ground sides are on the SEAT side, and 2 - am I correct in assuming if I connect those backwards, I'm going to make the seat go boom lol.
I will grab photos when I get a chance, but mostly wondering if anyone electrically inclined has a good way of determining polarity on the seat side, where a multimeter isn't going to yield the information I need (yes, the battery will be disconnected while troubleshooting/repairing).
