Hey guys,
I am trying to remove the rear shaft from the diff. but am having a heck of a time and in danger of rounding the nuts. Fsm states to remove the nuts that are only torqued to 65 ft.lbs. Any tips or tricks I should know? I hit them with Pb Blaster after my failed attempt and was gonna let them sit over night. Any other thoughts?

Thanks, Vince

Thanks for the tips guys. I have actually decided to not swap in the locked axels from my rolled '97. I will be posting it in the classifieds soon. I loved the lockers in my old cruiser but really never needed them and it looks like more work to swap than I am ready for. Sooo, What do you think is a fair pri for a rolled 97. Has lockers, ARB front bumper that was damaged and 176,000 on drivetrain.

your better off parting it out
You wont get crap for it selling it whole, locked axles or not

Yeah Kid I know but it's been sitting in my garage for 6 months and I want my garage back. Rather just have someone take the while package. I posted in in classifieds for 1,000 obo. I'm open to offers
