It's just that. At the firewall, the valve cover has nothing attached to it from the old carberator.. since the old carb is no longer on the 2f.
Quadratoilet now is on the manifold. There isn't even a PCV valve on the cover.

Should I connect a PCV to the cover, then run a hose over to the Offenhauser manifold, where there is presently an inlet, but it has a rubber button over it.

My concern is a vacuum issue if I do this. ..but/and fumes constantly escaping from the cover.
 
Valve cover takes filtered air from the air cleaner. PCV valve on the SIDE cover delivers positive crankcase vapors to the intake manifold. Route accordingly.

DO NOT cap off the valve cover AND the PCV.
