Mot,

These ladders should look good if paired with noselda/aiba roof racks. I'm still interested to get an aiba/noselda roof rack along with oem ladder but just don't have the dough at this time. I will let you know the soonest.

Noel,

I thought, for sure, you had given up on the idea, many, many moons ago!

As I might have said before, if you can find another person, or two (three would be even better), you can save $$$ on shipping (even having an extra person will save you over $100) somewhere close to your vicinity(sp).

The OEM ladders are not available new, but become available every so often, but you can get the racks new.

Let me know when you're ready to pull the trigger!

Here are some pics of the ladders for the 80 I have after they got a little tlc from Mot:

I got new nuts and bolts for the ones that were rusted out and tried to use something different than the OEM parts on this one.

This is the one that mounts to the middle of the hatch:

But I have had the bottom nuts/screws that touch the license plate light cover so I'm going to buy shorter screws and see if that would eliminate that issue (the center-mount ladder only).

Also I wanted to see what it would look like and how well it would work, leaving the original knowbs, but switching the bolts, etc... I like this a little better than the other set up w/o the knobs. But either one would work fine, I'm sure. I'll throw in both sets just so you can try and see which one you prefer.

I am game for the OEM used ladder which mounts on the LEFT hand side. $150 plus $35 shipping. How do you want to get paid? $$

I take PayPal or I can accept a cashier's check, money order, personal check, mailed to my American headquarters (in-laws' house:D) in Utah.

Let me know which way you prefer and we can take it from there!

THANKS!

Yours,

Mot

I will pay you through pay pal. Much easier. Please give me your pay pal account no. and total $. thanks.

So what happened with snowflake? Did he flake? If the 62 series ladder is available please PM me a price shipped

He hasn't gotten (back) to me, yet.

Please allow me to give him through this weekend to let me know his intentions. If he is no longer interested/able, then it's yours. I tried to put paint protective rubber sheet on last night on the ladder. It turned out OK, but would like to re-do the biggest part of it because I'm not 100% happy with the outcome.

I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for your patient.

Mot - Sorry, I missed these updates.

To clarify, is there a left hand mount OEM 80 series rack still available? If so, I'll take it.

No problem! And thanks for the clarification.

Yes, the chrome ladder (new) posted on #2 is still available and it does mount on the left. If I get around to it I would be more than happy to mount and see what it looks like on my rig.

Let me know!

Cool, consider it purchased.

Yep, pics would be great at your convenience. Let me know how that goes (mounting on your rig).

Let me know the cost.

PayPal works for me.

Thanks!

I shall!

THANKS!!!

Hey Mot, this is way after the fact - I know, but do you still have any of these ladders laying around? Or the PS dash grab bar from another thread. Thanks.

GD,

Here is what I have for the 80:

https://forum.ih8mud.com/showpost.php?p=773534&postcount=1

I have two used ones like above, but one is reserved for another member.
The other one mounts to the middle of the tailgate (not off to the left like all the other ones), because one of the mounting brackets is different (Did I post pics above somewhere?)

I have a new one pictured here:

https://forum.ih8mud.com/showpost.php?p=773538&postcount=2

As I mentioned somewhere the mounting bracket was a little too tight, I still need to work something out so I can utilize them. Or I can transfer brackets from the above (OEM) ladders and that will take care of mounting.

I also have another one identical to the chrome one above, except the finish is like this one pictured here:

https://forum.ih8mud.com/showpost.php?p=773544&postcount=3

I have not had time to mount it, yet. But it is in excellent condition (the seller told me that it was new, but there are clear signes that at least it has been mounted).

Anyway, let me know what you think (Sorry if it's a little confusing).

THANKS!

Mot

Thanks brother. I was looking for an aluminum ladder mounting on the side. If the member before me happens to fall through - please let me know. That stainless number is pretty nice but I can't afford it. Again thanks. Great stuff.

GD,

Thanks for the compliment.

I'll post some pics of the ladder after I get done detailing it for the guy (and others) to view.

Thanks again for the compliment. I appreciate it!

Yours,

Mot

I've got three new rear ladders for the 80 (one OEM and two aftermarket ones).

I'm asking (dreaming) $150, plus shipping for each.

No cursing please!

Let me start with the OEM set-up.

I have three of these, one new and two used.
This is made of aluminum, I believe. It's thick, but light.

The finish is, well... Toyota!

New: SOLD

Used: AVAILABLE
Mot,
Do you still have the aluminum ladder for the fj80 available? And please let me know how much including shipping to California 90620 and how can i pay you. Thanks,
Gil

Guys,

SO SORRY for not being upto speed with this stuff!

I know I have a few here on the thread, as well as a couple that have expressed interest with intent to purchase but I've been a total slacker! :(

I have a coule of used OEM ladders for the 80 that I need to detail before putting them up for sale (sanding, paining, putting rubber strips/sheets, etc...).

I also have two ladders for the 60/62 since I have not been able to hook up with snowflake for several weeks (He's in the service and might be away though).

Just wanted to let you know that I have not forgotten and I'm always on a lookout for good ladders.

I'll let you know when I finally get my lazy butt in gear.

SORRY!

Mot
