Good morning HDC's,

My rear heater is a bit leaky. Is there anyone in Albuquerque area that can repair these?

If its the heater core you might try one of the radiator shops in town.

I have zero success locating anyone that'll repair radiators in town. Anyone found anyone? @LX450JC or @pappy ?

JB used to be great. Once they moved from their old tiny location into the larger facility they went down hill. I had a radiator repaired at Walker Radiator on Juan Tabo recently.

I spoke to a radiator shop last year and their stance was that radiators have now become disposable and not worth repairing.

I heard that from a buddy that used to own a radiator shop. But, we are talking about a rear heater that is not available.

Right. If I could simply get a new one on Amazon, this wouldn't be a thread on this forum. So, since the only option is to get a repair, it's not disposable.

I'll give that radiator place a shout. I'm also throwing around the idea of just deleting it.

Can you see where it is leaking from? They are pretty easy to solder.

Can you post up a pic of the heater? I might be able to help you out.

Here's a picture of it. Not sure if that's all you need to see.

Whenever I drive there's a constant ribbon of smoke coming out of it.

Taking this offline.

Thanks to Pappy! He offered me a heater he had lying around. Problem solved; no more tub-o-coolant.
