rear hatch plastic piece?

I was unable to open my hatch for a while and after taking off the cover it seems like the little black plastic piece is broken. It seems like others have had that failure before, but I can't seem to find a toyota part number for a replacement. Was wondering if any of you guys had a part #, extra pieces, or could take some measurements so I could just 3d print my own.

This is what mine looks like now, but I believe it is supposed to be closed in with another bit of material sticking out the right side

is this is the latch point? I'm having a hard time with ID?

this piece slides on the arm that actuates the latch.

Can't open tailgate
there are a few suggestions on remedy in this thread. doesn't look like you can buy the plastic part.

thanks, hadnt seen that thread yet. The thumbnail to his video shows pretty well the plastic piece I am talking about.

You'll notice his is still intact, where as mine in my previous picture is broken off. I definitely would be able to 3d print something like this just need a better idea of some of the dimensions. I suppose I could just guess and file it down later though.

I would think Dealer can order, if not, look for any series 100 tail gate in junk yard.
